1. Why build a handcrafted log home instead of a kit home?
Handcrafted log homes are one-of-a-kind originals. They are intriguing and inspiring. And not only is the resale value of a handcrafted log home much higher than a kit home, they are also much easier to sell. Plus, logs add beauty and integrity to any home, making them a very special place to call home.

6. How long does it take to handcraft a log home package?
It depends on the size and scope of your project - but generally it takes about the same amount of time as it does to do site preparation for a log home. Basic site preparation includes utilities, road excavation, foundation, water, backfill, floor framing, plumbing, installation of floor ducking, crane pad allowance and trailer positions.

7. At what point in the building process do you usually start the log work for a custom home or project?
We begin your log home project as soon as all drawings, construction documents and permits are in order. That way the log work and the site preparation can be optimized to work together simultaneously.
